Attorney - General Liability

Job Overview:
A national litigation firm is seeking a General Liability Attorney to join its Melville, New York office. Duties:

• Handle general liability litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation documents
• Conduct legal research and case analysis
• Manage case strategy and litigation deadlines
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on case management and trial preparation
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts
• Provide high-quality legal representation and client service
• Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of general liability litigation experience
• Strong record of professional stability and positive references
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Commitment to professional development and client service excellence
• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar
