Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm located in Denver, CO, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and litigating their caseload, which will be provided by the firm. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and litigate a caseload of cases assigned by the firm.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court, including preparing and presenting arguments.
  • Prepare and file legal documents with appropriate courts.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide legal advice and develop case strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Attend and participate in client meetings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
  • Handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience as an attorney, with a demonstrated ability to manage and litigate cases.
  • Admission to the Colorado Bar is required.
  • Proven track record of successful case management and litigation.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Colorado Bar Admission required.
