Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Denver, CO office. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of business litigation experience, particularly in complex matters in state and federal courts.

Duties

• Conduct and manage written and document discovery.
• Research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Prepare witnesses for testimony.
• Appear for status conferences and argue motions in court.
• Participate in settlement conferences and negotiations.
• Assist with trial preparation.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of business litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience in state and federal courts.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact directly with partners and clients.

Education

• JD from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Active member of the Colorado Bar.
• Admission to the California Bar preferred.
