Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced trademark attorney to join its Trademark, Copyright, Privacy, and IP Transactions Practice Group in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in trademark law, including clearance, prosecution, maintenance, disputes, and enforcement actions. Experience with copyright and advertising matters is also valuable.

Duties

  • Conduct trademark clearance searches and provide legal opinions.
  • Manage trademark prosecution and maintenance processes.
  • Handle trademark disputes and enforcement actions.
  • Advise on copyright and advertising matters as needed.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • 5-10 years of experience in trademark law.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication abilities.
  • Desire to work within a collaborative team environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
