Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity team in Palo Alto. The successful candidate will advise on privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity matters in corporate and technology transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and public offerings.

Duties

• Advise on privacy and data processing in corporate transactions.
• Provide counsel on cybersecurity matters in technology deals.
• Support mergers and acquisitions and public offerings.
• Collaborate with clients in various industries, including AI and fintech.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in relevant legal fields.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions or technology transactions.
• Familiarity with technology industries and regulatory policy preferred.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• CIPP certification is a plus.
