Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience in government investigations, internal investigations, and white-collar and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate must possess superior academic credentials from a top law school, exceptional writing, research, analytical, and communication skills, and fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and/or German.

Duties:

  • Conducting legal research and analysis on various government investigations, internal investigations, and regulatory matters.
  • Drafting legal documents, including memos, briefs, motions, and pleadings.
  • Assisting senior attorneys in all stages of litigation and other legal proceedings.
  • Participating in client meetings, hearings, depositions, and negotiations.
  • Providing legal advice and counsel to clients on various legal issues.
  • Collaborating with other legal team members to develop case strategies and tactics.
  • Managing and organizing case files, documents, and evidence.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Texas.
  • 2-4 years of experience handling government investigations, internal investigations, and white-collar and regulatory matters.
  • Superior academic credentials from a top law school.
  • Excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and/or German.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
