Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Section 337 Litigation Associate in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have three to six years of experience practicing before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) and should have participated in at least two Section 337 ITC cases. Familiarity with ITC-specific issues such as domestic industry, remedies, enforcement, and the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure is essential.

Duties

  • Participate in Section 337 ITC cases.
  • Collaborate with attorneys in the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit.
  • Articulate legal strategies and courses of action effectively.
  • Handle multiple projects under pressure.

Requirements

  • Three to six years of experience with ITC cases.
  • Knowledge of IP law; technical background not required.
  • Active bar license in the state of the office location or commitment to obtain one.
  • Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Active bar license in relevant state.
