Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Attorney for their Employment and Litigation Practice in Maryland. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in employment law and litigation, with a strong ability to manage cases independently through all phases of litigation.

Duties

• Conduct initial consultations and provide ongoing employment counseling.
• Manage cases independently through all phases of litigation.
• Appear in court and represent clients effectively.
• Draft demands, motions, and pleadings.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare for and attend trials, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and mediations.

Requirements

• Currently licensed (Active) in Maryland.
• 7-10+ years of employment law and litigation experience.
• Significant experience as a trial and appellate attorney for employment matters.
• Experience in the EEOC administrative process and hearings.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate well.
• Ability to work full-time in office.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Maryland.
