Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Resource Attorney to join its Corporate group in Minneapolis, MN. This role involves supporting the Emerging Growth & Venture Capital (EGVC) practice by developing and maintaining core practice assets, improving workflows, and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and client service. The position offers flexibility for remote work.

Duties

• Develop and update the EGVC practice's corporate resource plan.
• Create and maintain precedent collections, forms, and checklists.
• Communicate relevant legal and market developments.
• Analyze market trends and experience data.
• Enhance collaboration across attorneys and offices.
• Improve workflows and matter management processes.
• Utilize technology for efficiency, including AI tools.
• Design and deliver training programs.
• Draft client alerts and practice updates.
• Collaborate with various internal teams.
• Promote tools and resources within the Corporate Department.
• Participate in department meetings to share best practices.

Requirements

• Experience as a Corporate attorney, ideally with EGVC or related experience.
• Understanding of attorney workflows and resource needs.
• Advanced legal drafting and research skills.
• Project management skills and process improvement ability.
• Interest in practice support and technology.
• Familiarity with legal technologies is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
