Job Overview

A law firm seeks a National Litigation and Claims Management Attorney in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves supporting the representation of a large, national logistics services provider. The position offers flexibility with in-person, remote, or hybrid working arrangements.

Duties

  • Independently manage a nationwide litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and proactively spot discovery issues unique to each case.
  • Develop strategic discovery responses tailored to individual cases.
  • Monitor and evaluate discovery processes for improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Manage and improve a national claims program, identifying efficiencies and scalable solutions.
  • Partner with attorneys, partners, and clients to develop case strategy and discovery plans.
  • Collaborate across offices and practice groups to deliver seamless service.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and emerging legal issues.

Requirements

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in at least one state.
  • 5+ years of litigation experience.
  • Strong discovery experience required.
  • Experience with multi-jurisdictional litigation or national claims programs preferred.
  • Background in transportation, logistics, or related regulatory frameworks preferred.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce or gig economy legal issues is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong client counseling and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced technical proficiency with litigation and discovery tools.

Education

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice in at least one state.
