Duties

• Draft and prosecute patent applications in semiconductor and software-based technology areas.

• Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in the engineering/industrial area or engineering/physics research.
• 1 year of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
• Qualified to sit for a state law licensing bar exam.
• Eligible to sit for the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office patent bar exam or have passed the USPTO patent bar exam.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree.
• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science.

Certifications

• State law licensing bar exam qualification.
• USPTO patent bar exam eligibility or certification.
