  • Compose waivers of inadmissibility, including I-601A and similar relief petitions, advocating for favorable discretionary outcomes.

  • Keep clients informed with regular updates on case developments, ensuring transparency and trust throughout the legal process.

  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to devise effective legal strategies and participate in internal case review meetings to monitor case progress and refine approaches.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Exceptional organizational abilities, capable of juggling multiple priorities and meeting firm deadlines.

  • Solid judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining a client-centered approach.

  • A commitment to continuous learning and a genuine passion for advocating on behalf of immigrant communities.

  • Experience mentoring or overseeing support staff is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar in good standing.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with case management tools such as MyCase or Docketwise.

  • Prior courtroom experience and direct client representation in immigration matters.

  • Experience drafting waivers (e.g., I-601A) and handling appeals.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

  • Comprehensive benefits package including:

    • Health insurance coverage.
