Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney to join their team in New York, NY. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of renewable energy projects within a well-established national practice.

Duties

  • Engage in project development, commercial, financing, and transactional practice areas.
  • Collaborate with attorneys in the Renewable Energy group.
  • Negotiate, draft, and close complex commercial agreements.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in renewable or conventional energy transactions, or comparable experience in mergers and acquisitions, financing, real estate, and/or project development.
  • Familiarity with tax credit matters, including ITCs or PTCs, is a plus.
  • Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission without examination in New York.

Education

  • Excellent academic credentials required.

Certifications

  • Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission without examination.

Skills

  • Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
