A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney - Generalist in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. The successful candidate will assist K-12 schools and community colleges with a variety of operational legal issues. This role involves collaboration with a team of dedicated professionals across multiple practice areas.

Duties

• Provide legal counsel in Labor & Employment, Governance, and Litigation.
• Advise on Students & Special Education and Higher Education matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft comprehensive legal documents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective legal strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of legal experience.
• Active membership in the State Bar of Illinois.
• Additional bar license in Iowa, Wisconsin, or Missouri preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
