Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level Regulatory Investigations, Strategy & Enforcement Associate in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience with State Attorneys General and a strong background in regulatory enforcement matters.

Duties

  • Respond to civil investigative demands (CIDs).
  • Coordinate and engage in multistate investigations.
  • Negotiate resolutions in complex regulatory matters.
  • Advise clients on internal investigations and related litigation.
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with State AG offices.

Requirements

  • 4 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a State Attorney General's office preferred.
  • Familiarity with investigations and multistate coordination.
  • Strong writing skills and publication record.
  • Licensed and in good standing in the state of residence and work.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in relevant state.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex regulatory matters.
  • Strong client-facing and relationship-building abilities.
