Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Civil Litigation practice group in Harrisburg, PA. The successful candidate will manage an active caseload, providing exceptional client service while working on complex legal matters.

Duties

• Handle civil litigation matters from inception through trial and post-trial proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and appellate filings.
• Manage hearings, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials independently.
• Provide strategic problem-solving and achieve outstanding results for clients.

Requirements

• Active membership in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar.
• Experience with Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedure and court practices.
• Ability to handle a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and client communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active PA Bar license.
