A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Attorney in Montgomery, Alabama. The role involves providing legal guidance and managing client cases with significant client interaction. The attorney will oversee legal issues and provide direction to staff.

Duties

  • Interact significantly with court systems, including mediations, arbitration, trials, and motions.
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for clients.
  • Examine legal and medical data to determine insurance coverage, liability, and damages.
  • Confer with colleagues to establish and verify the basis for legal proceedings.
  • Conduct research, interview clients and witnesses, and prepare for trials or hearings.
  • Develop settlement strategies and arguments for case presentations.
  • Ensure legal compliance with disbursements and settlement funds.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Build relationships with professionals in the community to enhance brand recognition and client service.
  • Travel may be required.

Requirements

  • JD degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Membership in the Alabama State Bar is required.
  • Additional State Bar memberships in GA, FL, and MS are a plus.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish or Korean is a plus.
  • 0-5 years of experience in personal injury law.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make impactful decisions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel is necessary.

Education

  • Doctorate degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar membership required.
