Job Overview

A law firm seeks a full-time Associate Attorney to join its practice in Wyoming. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting legal documents and possess strong organizational skills. This role involves handling a diverse caseload related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters, while communicating with the main office in New York via electronic means.

Duties

  • Maintain and supervise a heavy and diversified caseload in Wyoming.
  • Communicate with clients regarding their respective matters.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and agreements.
  • Communicate with opposing parties to resolve or settle claims.
  • Conduct legal research on contract law and consumer law issues.
  • Travel for court appearances as required.

Requirements

  • Admitted to practice law in Wyoming.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
  • Superior organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in legal research; LexisNexis experience is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
