A law firm seeks a Cyber and Data Privacy Attorney to join its New York office. The role involves working with a dynamic team on national and international cyber and data privacy matters, providing litigation defense and breach response services.

Duties

• Provide litigation defense for cyber insurers and major corporates.
• Engage in 24/7/365 breach response services.
• Collaborate with global cyber teams across multiple jurisdictions.
• Propose litigation strategies and communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
• Draft reports, pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and trials.
• Manage crisis situations and address regulatory and data risk issues.
• Advise clients on incident response and investigations related to data breaches.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of federal litigation experience.
• 2-6 years of cyber incident response experience.
• Experience in crisis management and regulatory issues.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in New York.
