Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney in Indiana to join its expanding practice. The attorney will primarily manage motor vehicle accident cases in litigation, with potential involvement in other personal injury matters such as dog bites and premises liability cases, including trial preparation.

Duties

  • Handle day-to-day management of motor vehicle accident cases in litigation.
  • Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
  • Guide clients through the case process.
  • Interact with expert witnesses, including drafting reports and affidavits.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
  • Participate in training programs and seminars outside normal business hours.

Requirements

  • 5 years of litigation experience required.
  • 5 years of experience as an attorney required.
  • 2 years of personal injury law experience required.
  • Indiana Bar License required.
  • Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association.
  • Ability to manage a volume average of 50+ litigation cases.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
  • Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Indiana Bar License.
