Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney with a minimum of 4 years of experience in trusts and estates to join its expanding practice in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in high net worth trust and estate planning and administration, with knowledge of relevant state and federal tax laws.

Duties

• Provide legal counsel on high net worth trust and estate planning and administration.
• Advise on succession planning, lifetime giving, and charitable giving strategies.
• Address estate and income taxation issues and tax-efficient family wealth transfer strategies.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in estate planning and trust administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication and advocacy skills.
• Massachusetts bar admission in good standing, or willingness to become admitted.
• Rhode Island bar admission is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
