Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its team in Manhattan, New York. The attorney will focus on litigating motor vehicle liability and automobile accident cases, representing plaintiffs in New York. This role emphasizes trial preparation and courtroom experience.

Duties

• Manage day-to-day litigation cases.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
• Guide plaintiff clients through the case process.
• Interact with expert witnesses, including drafting reports and affidavits.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Requirements

• Law degree (J.D. / JD / Juris Doctor) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association in NY.
• Ideally 3+ years of personal injury or auto liability experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume of litigation cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
