Job Overview

A law firm seeks a corporate, transactional, and securities associate with one to three years of relevant experience to join its office in Sorrento Valley, North San Diego County. This position offers the chance to work with a dynamic team on sophisticated regional and national mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, start-up financings, and more.

Duties

  • Engage in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and start-up financings.
  • Draft and review legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Interact with clients, outside advisors, and internal team members.
  • Manage client expectations and take ownership of projects.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of corporate experience at a national or regional law firm.
  • Strong drafting skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Comfortable in client-facing roles and managing projects independently.
  • Licensed to practice law in California.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • California State Bar License.
