Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Counsel specializing in build-to-suit, acquisitions/dispositions, and land development in Phoenix. This role involves sophisticated real estate transactional work, offering opportunities to engage with premier clients and collaborate across offices.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, and development agreements.
  • Lead due diligence, including title and survey review, and zoning analyses.
  • Coordinate and close acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development transactions.
  • Manage workstreams and mentor junior lawyers.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of sophisticated real estate transactional experience.
  • Experience at a major law firm with a national practice.
  • Proven track record in acquisitions, dispositions, and build-to-suit leasing.
  • Experience with zoning, entitlements, and complex documentation.
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the practicing state.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant state.
