Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced USPTO registered Patent Agent with a focus on Chemistry for their Seattle, WA office. The role may also be based in other offices such as Houston, TX. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in patent prosecution, preferably in a law firm setting.

Duties

• Conduct patent prosecution and client counseling.
• Prepare opinions and engage in patent office litigation (IPR/PGR proceedings).
• Collaborate with clients to address their intellectual property needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in patent prosecution.
• Experience in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical, and/or Small Molecule prosecution.
• Active USPTO Registration Number.

Education

• Technical or advanced degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.

Certifications

• USPTO registration required.

Skills
