Structured Finance Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a structured finance associate with 4-7 years of transactional or finance experience for the New York, NY office. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated team player capable of managing multiple deals in a fast-paced environment, contributing to a collegial group.

Duties

• Advise on innovative transactions and significant regulatory reform measures.
• Structure, execute, and sell residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities.
• Handle asset-backed securities, including esoteric ABS, CLOs, and other financings.

Requirements

• Three to six years of relevant law firm experience.
• Highly motivated with superior client service skills.
• Membership to the State Bar of the desired location is required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Member of the Bar in a U.S. State.

Substantial billable hours is the primary way to get the big bucks and partnership consideration at this large New York firm.
