Job Overview

A law firm seeks an early career Trial Attorney in Richmond, VA. The successful candidate will manage a high-volume caseload, engage with clients, and advocate in trials. This role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Duties

  • Manage approximately 150 cases, with around 50 in active litigation monthly.
  • Maintain proactive and transparent communication with clients.
  • Conduct depositions, draft and respond to motions, and lead mediations.
  • Serve as lead counsel in jury trials.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law; trial advocacy and/or moot court experience preferred.
  • Active and in good standing with the local State Bar; multiple state bar admissions preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of Virginia.

Skills

  • Strong legal acumen and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
  • Proficient in developing comprehensive case strategies.
