Trial Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Trial Attorney to join its team in Richmond, Virginia. The attorney will focus on litigating motor vehicle liability and automobile accident cases, representing plaintiffs in Virginia. This role emphasizes trial preparation and courtroom experience.

Duties

• Manage day-to-day litigation cases.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.

Requirements

• Law degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.
• 3+ years of personal injury or auto liability experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter with long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
