The candidate will advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, or legal rights and obligations. Will interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses. Keeps clients informed by maintaining contact; communicating case progress. Gather evidence to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of the case. Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for the presentation of cases. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications. Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Must be licensed to practice law in the state(s) of South Carolina and or Georgia.
