Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Duluth, Georgia. The successful candidate will represent clients, including lenders, investors, and businesses, in real estate, banking, corporate law, and litigation. Applicants should be licensed attorneys in good standing in Georgia, with 0-3 years of experience or recent law graduates who have applied for the Georgia Bar. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Duties

  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts and leases.
  • Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions.
  • Advise on zoning, land use, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide legal counsel on banking regulations and compliance.
  • Prepare and review loan agreements and financial instruments.
  • Advise on corporate governance and business structuring.
  • Draft and review corporate documents.
  • Represent clients in civil litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare for trials and hearings.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in dispute resolution.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members.
  • Manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Licensed attorney in good standing in Georgia.
  • 0-3 years of experience or recent law graduates.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
