Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Kentucky to provide comprehensive legal representation across various practice areas, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, and litigation. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced attorneys and develop a well-rounded legal skill set.

Duties

  • Represent clients in foreclosure, bankruptcy, replevin, and related court proceedings.
  • Draft and review motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Attend court hearings in person and virtually.
  • Provide legal oversight and collaborate with support staff.
  • Deliver responsive, client-focused legal services in a high-volume practice.

Requirements

  • Licensed in Kentucky (required).
  • 0-3+ years of experience (all qualified applicants considered).
  • Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and driven.
  • Multi-state licensure is a plus, especially if licensed in Indiana or Ohio.
  • Experience in litigation, bankruptcy, or collections is desirable.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Kentucky.
