A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney to join its Energy, Environmental, Mining, and Transportation Division in Irvine, CA. The role involves working with a team of attorneys in the Renewable Energy group, engaging in diverse renewable energy projects, including project development, commercial transactions, and financing.

Duties

  • Engage in renewable energy transactions, including project development and financing.
  • Negotiate, draft, and close complex commercial agreements.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys on various energy-related matters.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in renewable or conventional energy transactions, or related fields.
  • Strong background in mergers and acquisitions, financing, real estate, and/or project development.
  • Familiarity with tax credit matters, including ITCs or PTCs, is a plus.
  • Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission without examination in California.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in California.
