Attorney - Medical Malpractice and Professional Licensure

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced attorney specializing in Medical Malpractice and Professional Licensure in Camp Hill, PA. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in medical malpractice, with strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills. The ability to manage a litigation caseload independently and work effectively within a team is essential.

Duties

• Manage cases from inception to post-trial.
• Communicate with clients to keep them updated on case status.
• Make court appearances and participate in mediation.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Prepare, review, and respond to discovery.
• Conduct research as required by each case.
• Conduct direct and cross-examination of expert witnesses at trial and depositions.
• Meet billing requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of medical malpractice experience.
• Experience with depositions, mediation, and courtroom proceedings preferred.
• Strong positive attitude and dedication to team goals.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Skills
