Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level or senior finance associate for its Houston, TX office. The ideal candidate will have 4 or more years of experience in handling complex and high-value financing transactions.

Duties

  • Represent commercial bank and private credit lenders in financing transactions.
  • Advise private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers on debt financing.
  • Engage in senior-secured, junior-secured, and mezzanine lending.
  • Participate in acquisition and leveraged financings.
  • Handle reserve-based lending and project financings.
  • Work on securitizations and other structured financings.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant finance experience.
  • Experience with private credit and alternative capital transactions preferred.
  • Familiarity with data center financing is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and client management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
