Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Tax Associate (Junior) to join the International Tax Practice in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience in US cross-border income tax and estate planning, expatriation, and pre-immigration tax planning.

Duties

  • Assist individuals with cross-border income tax and estate planning.
  • Engage in expatriation and pre-immigration tax planning.
  • Conduct inbound and outbound tax planning.
  • Manage private client work with significant responsibility.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
  • Previous law firm experience preferred.
  • Admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission.

Education

  • LL.M in Tax.

Certifications

  • Florida Bar admission or eligibility.

Skills

  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a challenging workload in a fast-paced environment.
