Mid-Senior Corporate Counsel

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-senior corporate counsel in California. The role offers 100% remote work with flexible hours for a California-qualified attorney. Candidates should have approximately 6+ years of experience in a firm, in-house, or both, and be comfortable interacting directly with clients.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate various commercial agreements, including vendor, MSAs, licensing, SaaS, and advertising/marketing agreements.
• Deliver polished work product and interact directly with clients.
• Express legal concerns in an understandable way to non-lawyers.
• Incorporate client-preferred standard provisions for commercial agreements.

Requirements

• California-qualified attorney residing in CA.
• 6+ years of experience at a firm, in-house, or both.
• Strong drafting skills and excellent time management.
• Experience with M&A or major transactions is a bonus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
