A law firm in Seattle, WA, is seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in copyright, trademark, trade secret, consumer class action, and complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have superior academic credentials and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills and be admitted to practice law in Washington State.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in various litigation matters, including copyright, trademark, trade secret, consumer class action, and complex commercial disputes.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Prepare and present oral arguments in court and before administrative bodies.
  • Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial phases.
  • Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses to gather and analyze evidence.
  • Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and strategies.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and mediation processes.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to litigation practice.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in litigation, specifically in copyright, trademark, trade secret, consumer class action, and complex commercial matters.
  • Barred and in good standing in Washington State.
  • Superior academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to manage complex caseloads and meet deadlines.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to practice law in Washington State.

Skills:

  • Proficient in legal research tools and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage time effectively.
