Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Prudential Bank Regulatory Associate in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience advising banks and their affiliates on prudential bank regulatory matters under U.S. federal and state banking laws.

Duties

  • Advise U.S. and non-U.S. banks on prudential regulatory requirements, including capital, liquidity, governance, and risk management.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory issues under various banking acts and the Volcker Rule.
  • Assist with regulatory notices, applications, and chartering initiatives.
  • Advise on investments, mergers, affiliate transactions, and fiduciary activities.
  • Counsel clients on regulatory examinations and enforcement matters.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in bank regulatory matters.
  • Strong understanding of the prudential bank regulatory framework.
  • Admitted or eligible for prompt admission to the Washington D.C. bar.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Admission to the bar in Washington D.C. or eligibility for prompt admission.

Skills
