Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified and motivated mid-level associate to join its Real Estate group in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, experience in a law firm or similar environment, and superior writing, communication, and problem-solving skills. This role involves representing property owners and investors in complex real estate and finance transactions.

Duties

  • Represent lenders or borrowers in sophisticated real estate debt transactions.
  • Engage in acquisition, mezzanine, construction financings, refinancings, and loan modifications.
  • Draft and review core transaction documents.
  • Manage transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively.
  • Ambition, drive, and team-orientation to support national practice growth.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
