Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Counsel to join their team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial real estate transactions and the ability to manage complex deals independently and collaboratively.

Duties

  • Independently manage acquisition, disposition, financing, and leasing transactions.
  • Provide high-quality legal service both independently and as part of a team.
  • Integrate quickly into the national real estate practice.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of commercial real estate experience.
  • Admitted or eligible for admission in California, New York, or Massachusetts.
  • Experience with sophisticated owners, investors, operators, and developers.
  • Ability to manage transaction lifecycles and review legal documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education

  • JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the bar in relevant jurisdictions.

  • Ability to prioritize and stay organized.
  • Effective collaboration in team settings.
