Duties

• Assist with company formations and financings, including convertible notes and SAFEs.
• Handle venture capital and private equity transactions.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state securities regulations.
• Participate in joint ventures, spin-offs, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Advise on employment, consulting, and equity compensation matters.
• Address general corporate matters for venture-backed companies.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience with startups and emerging growth companies.
• Background in a reputable law firm or venture capital fund preferred.
• In-house experience at a well-funded technology startup is advantageous.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in good standing.
