A law firm seeks an experienced associate to join its litigation practice in Washington, DC. The role involves working on diverse intellectual property litigation matters, including patents, trade secrets, copyrights, and trademarks, as well as post-grant proceedings. Duties

• Handle intellectual property litigation cases involving patents, trade secrets, copyrights, and trademarks.
• Participate in post-grant proceedings at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
• Provide opinions, counseling, and manage transactions related to intellectual property.
• Collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality legal services to clients.

Requirements

• Two to five years of experience in intellectual property matters, including patent and/or copyright litigation.
• Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing and eligible for admission to the D.C. Bar.
• Registration to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office is preferred.

Education

• Undergraduate or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, or Physics.

Certifications

• State bar admission.
