Job Overview

A law firm seeks a corporate associate with 2-5 years of experience in public companies and capital markets for its Austin, TX office. The ideal candidate will have expertise in public company reporting compliance, governance, and capital markets transactions.

Duties

• Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and disclosure requirements.
• Advise on Nasdaq/NYSE compliance and governance issues.
• Represent issuers or investment banks in capital markets transactions.
• Handle IPOs, equity/debt offerings, and PIPEs.
• Engage with technology and life sciences companies.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience with public company compliance and governance.
• Familiarity with capital markets transactions.
• Experience with technology and/or life sciences companies preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar.
