Mid-Level Associate - Litigation (Product Liability)

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate with strong legal writing skills, particularly in pharmaceutical and medical device Daubert/Rule 702 motions practice, to join its Litigation group in New York, NY. This position offers a hybrid work environment with regular in-office presence and some flexibility for remote work.

Duties

• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Supervise junior associates and provide guidance.
• Collaborate with experts and assist in fact development.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Contribute to developing case strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Extensive experience with Rule 702 and Daubert issues.
• Experience in products liability litigation.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally recognized law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the jurisdiction of application; New York license preferred.
