Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney in Pittsburgh, PA. This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth. Duties

• Draft, prepare, and handle pleadings, motions, orders, and legal memoranda.
• Draft and respond to written discovery and dispositive motions.
• Conduct legal research competently and with proficiency.
• Prepare and take depositions of parties and witnesses.
• Review client documents, draft case evaluations, and status report correspondence.
• Assist with and participate in mediations and court appearances.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania; West Virginia license preferred.
• Experience managing multiple case files in a busy environment.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with superb organization and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of both state and federal court procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Pennsylvania; West Virginia preferred.
