Job Overview

A law firm seeks a midlevel Asset Management and Investment Funds Associate to join its Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have four to seven years of experience and demonstrated expertise in registered funds, regulatory, or private funds spaces. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced lawyers and gain increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.

Duties

  • Collaborate with a team of experienced lawyers on asset management and investment fund matters.
  • Provide high-quality client service and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents related to asset management and investment funds.
  • Participate in client meetings and provide strategic legal advice.

Requirements

  • Four to seven years of relevant experience in asset management and investment funds.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of practice.
