A law firm seeks a Legal Training and Development Attorney to support its Litigation and Intellectual Property practice groups. Duties

  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute training strategies for practice groups.
  • Design, implement, and manage training programs tailored to business unit needs.
  • Lead regular training council meetings and coordinate related initiatives.
  • Assess training requirements and create targeted development programs in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track associate training progress against established benchmarks.
  • Incorporate legal technology, including AI tools, into training curricula.
  • Maintain and update training materials on internal learning platforms.
  • Collaborate across teams to identify firmwide training opportunities and efficiencies.
  • Conduct regular meetings with practice groups to evaluate and improve training efforts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of legal experience with strong subject matter expertise.
  • Experience in training, mentoring, or professional development within a legal environment preferred.
  • Strong project management and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with legal technology and innovation tools.
  • Ability to work effectively with partners and cross-functional teams.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in good standing.
