Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Leasing Attorney with a minimum of five years' experience in commercial leases to join its Real Estate Group in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience with office, industrial, and retail leases, with solar leasing experience being a plus.

Duties

  • Act as lead attorney in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements.
  • Supervise less experienced leasing attorneys.
  • Interact directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial leases.
  • Experience with leases for office, retail, industrial, and life science properties.
  • Substantial experience representing landlords.

Education

  • JD

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand clients' business objectives.
  • Strong negotiating and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
