Job Overview
A law firm seeks a highly qualified Life Sciences Licensing Associate in New York. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in intellectual property licensing and technology transactions, with fluency in Mandarin and a preference for experience working in Asia.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate intellectual property licenses, including patent and trademark licenses.
• Engage in joint development, collaboration, and strategic alliance agreements.
• Handle technology licenses and services agreements, including software as a service agreements.
• Conduct intellectual property and technology transaction due diligence for corporate transactions.

Requirements

• Experience in intellectual property licensing and technology transactions.
• Fluency in Mandarin is required.
• Experience working in Asia is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage substantial components of transactions independently.
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.
