Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Midlevel Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Associate to join its team in Long Beach, CA. The successful candidate will represent creditors in various legal proceedings and provide innovative solutions in financial distress situations. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work both remotely and in the office.

Duties

• Represent creditors in state and federal court proceedings involving commercial loans.
• Handle loan workouts and commercial bankruptcy cases.
• Engage in litigation, bankruptcy, receivership, and related insolvency proceedings.
• Collaborate on litigated matters in other areas of law.

Requirements

• Two to five years of experience representing creditors.
• Strong academic credentials and analytical ability.
• Membership in the California State Bar.
• Membership in the Washington or Oregon State Bar is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
